Features of the Country Style Premium Cabinet Bed

Just like all our other Murphy cabinet beds, the Country Style Premium is made of solid birch wood that is sustainably forested in North America. Because the material is sourced from this continent, the savings in shipping costs is transferred to you, the consumer. There is no cheap particleboard or inferior materials used in its construction.

The Country Style Premium cabinet bed features the industry’s largest storage drawer, which is 59” across for the full size. This is plenty of space for storing extra linens and bedding, clothing and more. The top of the cabinet can also be used for storage and is rated to hold a TV screen up to 60”.

The Country Style Premium cabinet bed is modeled here in a crisp white finish, but you can also choose from a dozen other wood finish or paint colors. We also offer custom finishes; just give our professional staff a call to discuss the options.

The transitional style of this cabinet bed means it will look great in nearly any room in your home, no matter the décor. The raised front panels make a subtle style statement without overpowering other furnishings in the room.

Mattress Options

The Country Style Premium cabinet bed is offered with a full- or queen-size mattress made with CertiPUR-US® certified foam material that meets the agency’s standards for emissions, content, durability and performance. The mattress, a premium tri-fold memory foam model which features 2” of memory foam and 4” of foam, comes standard with this model. But you can also choose a 6” tri-fold, a 6” latex mattress or a combination latex/foam mattress. All include a cover to keep the mattress clean and stain-free. Installation of the Cabinet Bed

Cabinet beds are easy to install, and the Country Style Premium is no exception. There are only 6 bolts to install and separate it if you wish to move it later. The front is hinged and opens easily. There are no mechanical parts, just a patented open/close mechanism. It takes about 10 minutes total to install the cabinet bed since it does not need to be affixed to the wall like a Murphy wall bed does. Cabinet beds are actual furnishings you can take with you when you move.

When you wish to make the Country Style Premium into a bed for sleeping, it takes less than 30 seconds. Simply lift the front of the cabinet up and the sides out to access the mattress. Then move the storage drawer out in front of the cabinet to form the base for the unfolded mattress. Sturdy brackets ensure the base stays put and is up to the task of supporting a sleeper up to 500 lbs.
